The Peter Hostage Band has been providing great entertainment to New England audiences for more than 20 years! Performing throughout New England , the PHB has been specializing in a mix of Swing and Soul, which makes for great party music that all can enjoy. When the situation calls for it, they will provide quiet background jazz for cocktail receptions, or can turn the house upside-down with kickin' funk! They play classics from the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's! Their repertoire includes songs from Duke Ellington, Glen Miller, Frank Sinatra, Louis Prima, Ray Charles, The Beatles, James Taylor, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, B.B. King, Steely Dan, Huey Lewis, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Santana, Eric Clapton, Nat King Cole, Van Morrison, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, Brian Setzer, Tito Puente, Sam & Dave, Lou Rawls, Dr. John, and Elvis! (to name just a few!). Guitarist/ vocalist Peter Hostage is joined by some of the best musicians New England has to offer on sax, trumpet, keyboards, bass and drums. |
